چکیده
This study aimed to determine the optimum levels of irrigation regime and schedule based on crop water productivity for sustainable production green pepper in a water-limiting tropical savannah agroecological zone. The was conducted at Hydro Farm MotorKing Company Limited Tamale Metropolis, Northern Region, Ghana. experimental design 2 × 3 factorial experiment laid out randomized complete block replicated five times. Irrigation two (one-time daily application split 60% morning 40% evening) three (100% ETc, 80% ETc) were factors. “Yolo Wonder” variety test crop. planted planting distance 0.3 m within rows 0.5 between rows. Treatments applied using drip system. Crop requirements (ETc) estimated CROPWAT model. yield under each treatment determined. measured harvest as total weight fruits per hectare. determined unit consumed. Data analysis done Genstat (12th edition). Analysis variance (ANOVA) Duncan’s multiple range 5% level significance employed separate differences means. results suggest that both have significant influence pepper. Irrigating ETc (60% gave significantly higher yields compared other demonstrated are important factors consider optimization management pepper; however, further research is needed identify optimal these most effective strategies different environments.

Consideration of Water Productivity for Farm Water Management in Different Conditions of Water Availability for Dominant Summer Crops
ABSTRACT- Efficient use of irrigation water for summer crops should be considered seriously due to rare occurrence of precipitation in summer. This research was focused on the assessment of water use efficiency for dominant crops of summer cropping pattern in the study area (i.e., maize and rice) via considering water productivity (WP) with different water management scenarios at farm level at ...
متن کاملsimulation and experimental studies for prediction mineral scale formation in oil field during mixing of injection and formation water
abstract: mineral scaling in oil and gas production equipment is one of the most important problem that occurs while water injection and it has been recognized to be a major operational problem. the incompatibility between injected and formation waters may result in inorganic scale precipitation in the equipment and reservoir and then reduction of oil production rate and water injection rate. ...
Evaluation of Virtual Water and Water Footprint of Crop Production (Case study: Qaleganj County)
To address the optimal use of available water resources, a revisit of water resource allocation and management is needed. Water use and water footprint of every product varies in different geographical areas due to various climate, agricultural operations and water efficiencies. Thus, more productive management schemes are to be developed. The goal of this study is to assess the virtual water a...
